Otro disco sobre el cual ya nada hay para comentar, quien no haya escuchado al maestro Saluzzi o al gran Enrico Rava (reconocido trompetista italiano, uno de los más destacados y conocidos músicos italianos en la escena internacional del jazz, trabajó junto a músicos como Pat Metheny, Michel Petrucciani, John Abercrombie, Joe Henderson, Miroslav Vitous, y Gil Evans entre otros), que haga un bien a la humanidad y se baje el disco, quien guste de cualquiera de esos dos ilustres personajes, también. Y quien no guste de cualquiera de esos dos gigantes músicos, bueno... en MTV están pasando lindos videos...

I thought on the back of the accordian assault of my previous post, I'd present a little bandoneon music. I'm more of a fan of Dino Saluzzi (Bandoneon), than Enrico Rava (Trumpet) whom I'm not overly familar with, but happens to appear on the first 'Saluzzi' album I ever bought. I would not say this is his greatest album, but I recall being rather transfixed with the 3rd track in particular Lunar-Volver, which got me to buy it at the time. It's quite a slow & atmospheric track that sounds as if it has much sorrowful meaning. A relatively low key album, but still has its moments of beauty. BTW - this is jazz!
